“Navras Katha Collage”: A Journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari

Recently bagging the prestigious award in Boston for ‘Navras Katha Collage’- across the seven seas, the super excited producer-director and actor Praveen Hingonia announced that his film will now be released in theaters nationwide on 25th of October 2024, instead of it’s earlier release date of 18th October. Produced by SKH Patel and Praveen Hingonia, co-produced by Abhishek Mishra, Navras Katha Collage touches upon many important issues of the society.

The team of the most awaited film ‘Navras Katha Collage’ has accomplished a new record in the history of Bollywood by promoting it by road from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

Producer, actor and director Praveen Hingonia is very excited about this film and stated to media persons, “I believe that the love that people have given to the trailer of our film, hopefully the same love will be given by the audience in the theaters on release. People have spread awareness about the social message of our film by forming groups in their cities from North to South.”

The team of the film, which has won 58 national and international awards, had begun their promotional journey from Kashmir, then travelled to Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and then to Delhi. From Delhi they continued to Uttar Pradesh, from UP to Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat to Maharashtra, and then to Tamil Nadu while ending their campaign in Kanyakumari. All through this nationwide journey, the team visited many important places including Wagah Border, Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Khatkar Kalan, Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s village, Taj Mahal where Praveen Hingonia personally interacted with the local people and got a very good response from the audience.

Writer, director and actor Praveen Hingonia has played nine challenging characters in this film. Other actors in this film are Shaji Chaudhary, Dayanand Shetty, Revathi Pillai, Sunita ji, Mahesh Sharma, Prachi Sinha, Amardeep Jha, Shreya Jha, Jai Shankar Tripathi, Ishan Shankar and Swar Hingonia.
