Oreo Cake
A rich, creamy chocolate cake made with Oreo cookies.
Ingredients:
2 packs of Oreo biscuits (25 biscuits)
Butter 50 gms
Strawberry or blueberry 200 gms
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Chocolate ganache or whipped cream (for topping)
Instructions:
Prepare the Batter, Crush the Oreo biscuits and mix them with the butter. Press the mixture into a tin to form a base. Add a layer of crushed strawberry/blueberry. Spread a layer of chocolate ganache or whipped cream over this. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
Ready to serve.
Strawberry Cake
A soft, fruity cake bursting with strawberry flavor.
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour (240 g)
1 cup granulated sugar (200 g)
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter (120 ml)
1 cup pureed strawberries (250 ml)
1/2 cup milk (125 ml)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Fresh strawberries (for decoration)
Whipped cream or strawberry frosting
Instructions:
Prepare the Batter, Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a round cake pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: strawberry puree, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and oil.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
Bake the Cake:
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely.
Decorate with sliced strawberries.
Belgium Cake
A decadent, layered chocolate cake with Belgian chocolate ganache.
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour (240 g)
1 cup cocoa powder (120 g)
2 cups sugar (400 g)
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk (240 ml)
1/2 cup vegetable oil (120 ml)
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup hot coffee or hot water (240 ml)
For the Ganache:
200 g Belgian dark chocolate
200 ml heavy cream
Instructions, Prepare the Cake Layers:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line two cake pans.
In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Divide the batter between the pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool.
Make the Ganache:
Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until it just begins to simmer.
Pour the hot cream over chopped Belgian chocolate in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then stir until smooth. Allow it to cool slightly.
Assemble the Cake:
Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread ganache over the top.
Add the second layer and coat the entire cake with ganache.
Decorate with chocolate curls for a luxurious finish.
