Los Pablos is the winning creation from the high-stakes Simba Brew Off, where India’s top microbreweries battled to create an exceptional brew. Held at Woodside Inn in Mumbai, the competition brought together some of the country’s most talented brewers, each presenting up to two of their finest beers to a panel of expert judges. Evaluated on taste, aroma, appearance, and overall brewing excellence, the winning beer, Los Pablos by Rolling Mills Brewery in Mumbai, earned the ultimate prize, a collaborative small-batch release with Simba. The first leg of the Simba Brew Off took place last year, culminating in this victorious creation that perfectly complements the laid-back charm of Goa.
Los Pablos also marks the debut of Simba Garage, an initiative dedicated to collaborative craft brewing, spotlighting independent breweries across India to push the boundaries of flavour and innovation. A playground for experimental, small-batch brews, Simba Garage, brings together some of the most exciting names in craft beer to create unique, one-of-a-kind collaborations.
For its first edition, Simba partnered with victorious Mumbai-based Rolling Mills Brewery, a craft brewery known for its attention to detail and bold flavours. Together, they created Los Pablos, a light, crisp, and easy-drinking Mexican-style lager that brings a refreshing contrast to Simba’s signature full-bodied brews. It imparts bright tropical fruit notes with a subtle hint of corn tortillas, making it distinct from malt-forward and hoppy beers. This collaboration represents Simba’s commitment to celebrating regional flavours and small-batch craftsmanship while staying true to its dedication to quality and innovation.
