Uppercase’s ‘Made in India’ Travel Gear Makes a Statement at NYFW

In a moment that blended fashion, innovation, and sustainability, uppercase, India’s pioneering sustainable luggage brand, made its debut at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) 2025. The showcase took place at Sony Hall on February 6, 2025, marking a significant moment for Indian designs on the global stage  and drawing attention from international fashion insiders and industry leaders.

Marking a first-of-its-kind presence for an Indian luggage brand on the global fashion stage, uppercase introduced two standout collections—Rock Suitcase and Vector Suitcase—each designed with a unique approach to modern, eco-conscious travel.  

  • Rock Suitcase draws inspiration from nature’s raw beauty, with rugged textures and earthy tones that bring a grounded, organic feel to travel.
  • Vector Suitcase offers a bold, structured look with striking vertical corner lines, making a statement with its sleek and modern aesthetic.

The two new products were unveiled on the runway by famous influencers Pooja Mundhra and Mehak Ghaii, who walked as showstoppers, embodying uppercase’s vision of stylish and responsible travel.

For uppercase, this NYFW debut wasn’t just about unveiling a collection—it was about making a statement. Sustainability is no longer a niche concept; it’s shaping the future of fashion and travel. By integrating conscious materials with contemporary aesthetics, uppercase is redefining what travel gear can be.

With its NYFW debut, uppercase is breaking away from the traditional, muted aesthetics of the luggage industry and introducing a fresh, fashion-forward approach. The brand has been leading the charge in making travel gear not just functional, but also an extension of personal style.

uppercase’s commitment to design excellence was recognized globally when its Bullet Hard Trolley won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2024, making it the first Indian luggage brand to receive this honor and be featured at the Red Dot Museum.
