As a founder, you’ve built Drunch around boldness and vibrancy. How do you personally embrace those qualities in your own life.
I wasn’t always this confident. Before Drunch, I was the person who hesitated to send back an incorrect food order. But building my own brand has been a crash course in self- assurance—teaching me to speak up, take initiative, and step outside my comfort zone every day. From negotiating with manufacturers to shooting content and reaching out to influencers without hesitation, the journey has challenged me in ways I never expected. And while it’s still a work in progress, I’ve never felt more empowered. Drunch hasn’t just been about running a brand—it has been a journey of personal growth.

How do you stay inspired to create designs that resonate with Gen Z and millennial women? What is your creative process when conceptualizing new collections.
A blend of in-depth research, industry trends, and instinct guides my design process. While I closely follow international brands and find inspiration on platforms like Pinterest, some of the most valuable insights come from real conversations—with customers, friends, and my ever- honest family (especially my mom and sister). Every Drunch design must pass the ultimate test: “Would I actually wear this?” At the core, I create shoes I’d want in my own wardrobe—because if they’re not stylish, comfortable, and a little bold, then what’s the point?

You’ve created a brand that blends Indian roots with global flair. How does this fusion of cultures influence the way women across the world relate to Drunch?

    Drunch is a reflection of the modern woman—deeply connected to her roots while embracing a global perspective. Our designs blend international trends with a bold, playful energy that resonates with Indian women. Whether navigating the bustling streets of Mumbai, enjoying a brunch in Dubai, or making a statement in London, Drunch is designed for women who embrace every moment without compromising on style or comfort.

    Looking ahead, what’s the next big, bold move for Drunch in the coming years that would continue to redefine luxury and comfort in women’s footwear?

      A Drunch store is definitely part of the vision. I want women to experience the brand firsthand—trying on their favorite styles and finding the perfect fit. But beyond that, my goal is to see Drunch in every woman’s wardrobe whether she’s a high-heel enthusiast, a devoted flats wearer, or someone who just needs a little nudge to step outside her comfort zone (just like I once did!). Expansion into new cities and establishing Drunch as the go-to brand for women who balance work and play is the next big step. And who knows? A celebrity collaboration may be on the horizon. The journey begins now !
