Poonam Pandey shared pictures of he on social media taking a dip in the Ganga at the Maha Kumbh. At the grand Maha Kumbh, millions of devotees gather to immerse themselves in the holy Ganga to participate in the Shahi Snan. The actor shared a carousel of pictures capturing her experience at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

Poonam Pandey was spotted wearing a black printed shirt adorned with images of ‘Mahakal,’ one of Lord Shiva’s forms, along with the chant ‘Jai Mahakal’ and the ‘Om’ symbol scattered across it. After taking a holy dip, she performed Surya Namaskar.

She also shared pictures of another devotee applying turmeric and sandalwood paste on her forehead, a sacred ritual performed to seek blessings from the divine.

Additionally, Poonam posted videos capturing the massive crowd, emphasizing the spiritual significance of the Shahi Snan. Thousands of devotees gathered at the holy river Ganga, eager to take a dip during the auspicious timing of the Shahi Snan. She appeared to be soaking in the moment, filming the devotees and the grand scale of the event, clearly embracing the spiritual vibe of the Mahakumbh.

Beyond the Shahi Snan, she enjoyed boat rides, fed birds, witnessed the evening aartis by the ghats, and danced joyfully with fellow devotees, celebrating the holiness of the festival.

Unfortunately, as the crowd grew larger, a stampede occurred, resulting in injuries and, tragically, some fatalities. Poonam took a moment to pray for the souls of the departed, wishing them peace and moksha.

In her caption, Poonam encapsulated the entire experience- from the surreal devotion and unwavering faith to the heartbreaking tragedy, she wrote, “Mahakumbh… Witnessing life up close, where a 70-year-old walks barefoot for hours, where faith knows no limits. Feeling deeply for those who lost their lives, hoping they find moksh. The devotion here has left me speechless…”
