Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Attends Special Screening Of Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya’s Sky Force In Delhi
Recently, Actors Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya came to Delhi to promote their upcoming film “Sky Force”. The promotional event was held at The imperial Hotel, New Delhi.
Film producer, Dinesh vijan & Amar Kaushik was also present at the event. The movie is all set to release on 24 January 2025.The film is about India’s retaliatory attack on the Sargodha airbase of Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965, which marked India’s first airstrike.

Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya promoted their upcoming film, Sky Force in Delhi. They play Air Force officers in the war drama. Ahead of its Republic Day 2025 week release, Akshay and Veer hosted a special screening of Sky Force for the Defence Minister of India, Rajnath Singh.
Akshay and Veer attended the screening with Sky Force’s producers Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik. Mr Singh shared pictures with the team of Sky Force on X and wrote, “Joined CDS and three service chiefs at the special screening of ‘Sky Force’. The film narrates the story of Indian Air Force’s bravery, courage and sacrifice during the 1965 War. I laud the makers of the film for their efforts.”
During their visit to Delhi, Akshay and Veer called for a special screening for NCC cadets on Monday (January 20). The makers expressed gratitude to Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh and Disha Cell of the Indian Air Force.

Following the screening, the Sky Force team engaged in an interactive session with the cadets, discussing their training experiences, the film’s theme, inspiration, and the spirit of service and patriotism. Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya also performed a song from the film for the cadets.
Sharing a glimpse of the screening, Akshay wrote on Instagram, “A special screening of Sky Force that celebrated and honoured courage in every form, with our NCC Cadets! A big thank you to Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh and DISHA Cell of the Indian Air Force for such memorable moments. 3 days to go for #SkyForce. Releasing in cinemas this Friday, 24th January.”
Sky Force is based on a real incident. It retells the story of India’s first airstrike on the Pakistani Airbase on Sargodha. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Amar Kaushik. Sky Force also stars Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan.
