Superkicks Unveils Air.Wav: Where Music, Culture and Sneakers Collide!

Superkicks, India’s leading streetwear and sneaker destination, continues to push boundaries with Air.Wav—a project that fuses music, culture and movement to celebrate Air Max Day. This groundbreaking initiative brings together the energy of independent music and the deep-rooted influence of sneakers in global subcultures, offering a new form of creative expression that celebrates both art forms.

Air.Wav is a music-centric cultural initiative created by Superkicks to merge the power of music with the profound influence sneakers have on global subcultures. While the brand has consistently supported emerging artists through its co-sign content, this year, Superkicks is elevating the experience by producing an original track that captures the rhythm, innovation, and dynamic culture of Air Max. The project highlights the evolving relationship between music and fashion, showcasing how both can inspire and drive cultural transformation.

At the heart of Air.Wav is an all-star lineup of artists led by three talented rappers, RAK, Tienas and Fiena Fina with visionary producers Dhiraaj and 3BHK. Together, they form a unique creative collective, blending various influences that span multiple cultures. Tienas is known for his genre-defying approach and intricate wordplay, while RAK brings a hard-hitting lyricism with his raw energy and powerful storytelling. Feni Fina, a rising star in the Indian hip-hop scene, completes the vocal ensemble with her fearless bars and distinctive sonic identity. The project also features the innovative production talents of Dhiraaj, known for creating immersive soundscapes and 3BHK, whose genre-blending beats offer a fresh perspective on the fusion of electronic and traditional music styles.

The Air.Wav project unfolds across multiple touchpoints. The track will blend hip-hop, rap, baile funk, and experimental electronic textures, creating an immersive listening experience that merges raw lyricism with melodic storytelling. The artists bring their distinct identities to the table, making Air.Wav a diverse and dynamic showcase of India’s rising musical talent.

Sangeet Paryani, CEO and Co-Founder of Superkicks commented, “Superkicks has always been more than just a retail space; it’s a community hub. We have sought to nurture street culture and independent music since day one. Through our Co-Sign platform, we have highlighted over 30 artists, giving them a platform to showcase their work. Air.Wav is a bold new step in our journey, and we’re excited to continue pushing boundaries and paving the way for global collaborations in the years to come.”

A short documentary, filmed at Subculture Studios in Khar, will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process behind the track. This documentary will capture interviews with the artists and Superkicks founder Sangeet Paryani, offering insights into the essence and inspiration behind Air.Wav. Superkicks will host an exclusive event at Iron Buzz Tattoo Studio to celebrate the global release, where fans can hear the track for the first time, watch the documentary, and engage with the creators through curated activations.

The track will be launched across all major streaming platforms on March 26, 2025, ensuring that Air.Wav reaches audiences worldwide.
